Çimser Grass Production Industry and Commerce Joint Stock Company has the right of selling and marketing SeaSpray ® grass in Turkey and Northern Cyprus.

It is the only variety  which provides outstanding turf quality and has fine texture thin foliage.  The mowing height is 3 milimeters.

It is a warm season grass. It has a bright blue-green colour.It tolerates soil with a pH range of 4,5-9,0. Due to strong root structure it is extremely salt  tolerant turfgrass. In the case of flood and  overflow it tolerates water logging.

There is no disease or weeds when it is watered with low quality salty water. It is medium shade durable. It should be careful when using nitrogen fertilizer in the summer because it needs less nitrogen, due to rapid nutrient uptake. SeaSpray rollgrass is ready for use immediately after it has been laid out. However, stolon needs four weeks’ time to become ready for use.

Mowing

:

Generally mowing height should be between 1,5 cm and 5 cm.

Mowing height should not be more than one-third of the  grass height.

When mowed with  revolving  machineries , it is recommended that the mowing height should not be less than 2cm.

When mowed with machines with high power and cylindiric blades, the mowing height can be less than 2 cm.

The blades of the mowing machine should be sharp.

Grass shoul not be mowed when it is wet.
