ÇİMSER GRASS PRODUCTION JOINT STOCK COMPANY laid out carpetlike roll grass in a total 55 thousand square metres area in Kordon, in İzmir. started its activities in 1990 in Ödemiş, İzmir. Being the first roll grass producer in Turkey, it has also made an invaluable contribution to the economy of the country by creating this new sector.

The objective of ÇİMSER is to meet the needs of sports fields and golf fields by producucing the roll grass in İzmir apprepriate to Turkey’s climatic conditions and also to do research to enable the development of this sector in our country.

ÇİMSER was recognized by Turfgrass Producers International (TPI) in 1993 and since then has been the represantative of Turkey of Turfgrass Producers International. ÇİMSER, which was registered as PRIVATE SECTOR AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH INSTITUTION, is the first roll grass producer in İzmir.
